There couldn´t be a better day to have the OPEN STUDIO for our artist in residence Georgiana Phua from Singapore than on the All Saints Day.
The artist has a Bachelor of Fine Art with Emphasis in Art History, Theory & Criticism by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Master of Arts by the Goldsmiths College, University of London.
Her investigation work talks about a cabinet of Spanish curiosities, including saints and their attributes. Georgiana is interested in these icones in a non-religios way.
The technics she is using are multidisciplinar. From embroidery over watercolours to collages and even ceramic works.
We invite you to a wine of honor and some snacks. See you friday 1st of November in the time from 11 to 18h in the artnground residence.
